Looking back at your preliminary task (the continuity editing task), what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to full product?
Its important to remember that with our media class we had difficulties with the first year of doing media A-level because we had no clear directions and help from our teacher. From the preliminary task to the full product , I do not think that I learn much between them , this is because with our class we had did the A2 work first and then followed it up with the AS work meaning when it came to doing the AS work we had already gained the skills and tecniques to do our AS work properly which I am sure are visible in the media product that we created.
What I did learn though was about the 180 degree rule , match on action and shot/reverse shot.
The 180° rule is a basic guideline in film making that states that two characters (or other elements) in the same scene should always have the same left/right relationship to each other
Match on action is a cut made on action or movement between two shots in which the action has been overlapped either by repetition of the action or by the use of more than one camera.
